We planned the shoot for evening, hoping to catch a great sunset, and man we did! Emily and Chris are getting married next July, and since they met at the UW – while working with monkeys no less! We hung out at the Memorial Union and the lake side trial nearby. Once it got dark we had to get resourceful with the lighting, but we found some great spots.

It’s not easy holding the camera and flash and trying to make sure you don’t fall into the lake. Luckily I stayed dry!
The blue color of the sky about 30 minutes after sunset is my favorite color!
They are actually lit with the lights from the stage at the union. I saw them and couldn’t resist trying something!
