Emily and Chris are getting married next July, and since they met at the UW – while working with monkeys no less! We hung out at the Memorial Union and the lake side trial nearby. Once it got dark...  I always like to try to incorporate something personal into my portraits whenever possible. It helps add some context for the photos and it says something more about a person than just what they look like. For Brad and Liz that “something personal” turned out to be cribbage. They are self-described HUGE cribbage fans, bordering...  Photographing weddings in March can be an interesting proposition in Wisconsin. One needs to be prepared for any kind of weather. I watched the forecast a little closer than usual in the days leading up to Saturday. Rain was the word for Saturday … that is until Saturday morning when I saw “Sunny and 58″...  So obviously this wedding and the few that will be coming soon are well past due, but after Nissa’s birth I felt it was important to take the time I needed to devote to her and Valerie. Things are slowly starting to normalize a bit though, so I hope to be getting gradually back into... |
